Aim of our network
The aim of the IRN is to build bridges between emotions-interested ESE researchers. We want to build a think tank on emotions in ESE, use our collective expertise, share resources and systematize the research landscape. Through our different activities we want to systematize different perspectives (theoretical, methodological, empirical, disciplinary) on emotions in ESE research. While mapping the field we also start to explore what it means if research on emotions in ESE emerges from different disciplinary contexts and begin to describe different opportunities/advantages of the various methods/disciplines. This will also contribute to future research questions and methodological developments that overcome some of the current limitations in tackling emotions in ESE research. All in all we want to build a common transdisciplinary ground regarding emotions in ESE research and explore future questions which can then be tackled by researchers in the network. This can lead to co-developing future research opportunities and applying for funding.
